About Salsa: Salsa refers to a style of music and dance that has its origins in the Caribbean and South America, but which has developed all over the world. Salsa is taking the world by storm with its fun, energetic moves and social way of life. It is a mild cardio-vascular workout. It is great for improving balance, timing and co-ordination.
Course Description: The classes start at the beginner level and progressing through a “rolling syllabus”. This means that if you miss classes, the steps will be revised and re-taught in the first part of the following week. The course will run for 4 weeks before the next course begins.
Starting Date Beginner 1 course: Tuesday the 7th of September. Max number: 20 per class only.
What to wear: • Any shoes with an enclosed heel – leather shoe is preferable. • Shoes with a small heel or a flat shoe for the ladies • Jazz shoes or dance shoes preferable
Partners: Salsa students do not have to bring a partner. During the class they will rotate and dance with different people, including the instructor.
Private Lessons: Private lessons are available at a rate of $80 per hour for 1 person or $110 for a couple. Booking essential!

Starting Date Course 6: Thursday 2nd of September. Max number: 20 per class only. Beginners at 6.30pm, Beginners 2 at 7.30pm & Intermediate at 8.30pm. Location: Terrey Hills Community Centre, Yulong Rd, Terrey Hills (next to Frank Beckman reserve). So if you live in Terrey Hills, Belrose, St. Ives, Killara, Duffys Forest or surrounding suburbs, you have no excuses anymore! :)
